Installation, 2021

My Practice is driven by my desire to manifest the private and personal, distorting it, blurring it, and expanding it to reflect and reference wider social, political and theoretical issues. The domestic printer has become my major tool for creating, with analogue and digital editing being my methods for continually revisiting and evolving imagery. I believe in using mediums and materials that are more readily available and accessible. Questioning and critiquing certain expectations of the artist has become a burgeoning part of my practice.

Post-Distance

Post-Distance is a crucial display of work by final year, graduating BA (Hons)Fine Art students. It represents their commitment and ingenuity, a testament to their resilience at the end of a difficult year. Working across different media and contexts, this exhibition highlights what is possible, how limitations need not restrict and how it is always a good time to be artist.
