I am an interdisciplinary artist-designer working in textiles, embroidery, film, fiction and experimental photography, exploring ecological narratives of the future. Themes in my work include climate change, sustainability, biodesign, design futures and localism.

Recent work has addressed the question of how one can create with colour and print in a way which connects back to nature. This has included the development of a Birmingham colour palette using plants foraged from various parts of the city

My work will draws on theories of the commons, regenerative design, localism and designing with nature, with key influences from design activists Kate Fletcher and Mathilda Tham.

My background includes twenty years in the global fashion industry an experience which has given me an innate understanding of materiality and colour.
