The Dilemma of Female Independent Consciousness in the Works of Chinese Woman Directors. 

This study investigates the inner world of Chinese women and reflects their feelings of being and belonging in the world by evaluating the feminine perspective of female filmmakers. At the same time my research explores how these films convey the real-life interactions and obstacles that women face and confront. The films which reflect real life in contemporary China, enable us to gain a comprehensive understanding of women’s actual living situations. These women filmmakers aspire to convey female sentiments and reveal female consciousness through analytic practices in their work.
