Vnusart, or otherwise known as Venus Williams, is a visual artist from Birmingham, UK. Venus has always had an interest in art from a young age which she continued  to pursue throughout secondary school and college. In 2021 she will be graduating from her fine art degree which she has studied at The Birmingham School of Art. Venus’ art work often reflects subjects which are personal but also important to her. An example would be when her interest in art first began, she created art works that reflected her love for nature and the natural world. Continuing from this, she would make art work relating to the human body, highlighting issues of body image but also promoting body positivity. Additionally, artwork created at a later date by Venus would explore the ways of how the natural body and the natural world conform together, exploring ideas such as the Gaia theory and also including ideologies about spirituality. However, her most recent work reflects an important time of her life surrounding identity and self-expression which is shown throughout her paintings, sculptures, collages and video works, which still include elements of her past work and  styles.
