Since childhood, I have always been interested in art. I have always been very creative and preferred being alone with a paintbrush and paper rather than playing with other children. I was born and raised in England. Watercolour is my favourite medium, but I dabble in all sorts of media and experimentation. I love using colour in my own work, but I have also enjoyed creating monochrome and black and white pieces. I have been called a political artist before; in some ways, this resonates with my style. I take serious topics and create art from those issues. I have done artwork for Domestic Violence, Racism, Social Media, Rape Culture, Mental Health, Objectification, Body Positivity, Sexualisation, Addiction, and other serious issues.
Post-Distance
Post-Distance is a crucial display of work by final year, graduating BA (Hons)Fine Art students. It represents their commitment and ingenuity, a testament to their resilience at the end of a difficult year. Working across different media and contexts, this exhibition highlights what is possible, how limitations need not restrict and how it is always a good time to be artist.
