I come from a small country of Croatia luckily born in the culturally most progressive and inclusive town Rijeka. My journey into art began at the early age of 3 years old. I drew like any other small child does, but my connection to art goes deeper than that. At 4 years old I began to notably stutter while talking, sometimes to a point I could not finish a sentence. My concerned parents took me to the doctors hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. After careful examination from the doctor he told them to give a try of curing it by making me draw as much as possible. A month later my stutter was gone and my blabbering skills never looked back and kept developing. Thus, for me art is not something I just enjoy, but it is something that cured me a long time ago and keeps doing it to this day in many different ways. Art that always interested me was art that came directly from the mind of my own. I am a strong believer in skill, but I was never interested in pure realism nor replicating. Everything I make ”stands on the shoulders from giants” but I do not just look far and wide, but try to reach for the stars, making my own individual latter, and that is something I pride myself of my entire life. In 2014. I enrolled in The School of Applied Arts in Rijeka, Croatia where I developed my skills full time even further; working with metal, wood, prints, digital art and interior design which was also my major final work. After finishing with honours I decided to expand my studies in England. I realized that art is not something I just want to do, But something that I need to do and for what would invest all my recourses, time and energy, an it always gives back. In the fall of 2018. I officially enrolled in Birmingham City University where I am now finishing my Fine Art degree
