“There is something happening here”
Taking its title from Bob Dylan’s (1965) song ‘Ballad of a Thin Man’, this exhibition is made up of a series of kinetic sculptures that incorporate both traditional sculpting processes alongside technology. Microcontroller and DC motors are utilised to create rhythmic sounds and sporadic movement as a way of exploring Serendipity in sculpture.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
