My artworks come from a fascination for fiction, for in the modern age we have so many mediums to convey narratives in various ways, and many formats to access them through. In my everyday life I love to experience stories and allow myself to be brought into the creation of another person (or persons), to feel intense emotions and create memories off of these complex illusions. 

These fictions always inspire me to create, driving me to pursue a creative career, and has helped me discover my love for woodworking. My presented work is a culmination of combining my love for fiction and woodworking, as I create objects wielded by characters from narratives that are close to me while also learning and refining my woodworking skills. These objects are intended to represent both the fiction they come from, and the characters they are tied to, bringing me closer to these stories in the real, physical world through my own hands. 

Past Shows
