My practice involves mix media and mask making, using a range of materials and processes that best convey my ideas, from casting and plaster to fabric and latex. My work is focused on visual ways of communicating my self identity, almost like a visual diary showcasing my struggles with, beauty standards, depression, body dysmorphia and a medical condition called polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) that has hugely affected my life.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
