I use languages of painting, drawing and printmaking to explore ways in which intangible and inherently internal concepts can be made visual. My practice is rooted in notions of memory, nature, and imagination. Through layering, blurring and overexposing imagery, I am to make works that evoke memory impressions. They function as physical manifestations of my inner mind – they simultaneously suggest echoes of the past and yet never come fully into focus.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
