24 Selfie Series (detail), fine liner on paper, 2021
Amber’s work comes in many different forms varying from drawing, painting and collages. She often enjoys doing commissioned pieces of artwork in her spare time as well, which usually consists of coloured pencil crayon pieces of family portraits. The mediums she specialises in the most are coloured pencil crayons, water colour and acrylic paint. Her work is created in a subtle way in order to have a hyper realistic feel to her work. She has also began to experiment with larger sized acrylic canvas pieces.
Post-Distance
Post-Distance is a crucial display of work by final year, graduating BA (Hons)Fine Art students. It represents their commitment and ingenuity, a testament to their resilience at the end of a difficult year. Working across different media and contexts, this exhibition highlights what is possible, how limitations need not restrict and how it is always a good time to be artist.
