Symbolizing the beauty and strength found in nature’s ability to regenerate, this installation invites viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of life and the endurance of the natural world.
By challenging the conventional notion of boundaries and exploring the symbiotic relationship between living organisms, the work encourages contemplation on the fluidity and adaptability of life. The work is a captivating mixed-media installation that combines such materials as a rusty can with dirt and roots.
Through juxtaposing decay and vitality, it explores the intricate cycle of life, prompting viewers to reflect on the beauty found in unexpected places and the potential for growth and transformation.
The work serves as a reminder to take the time to look at the natural beauty right in front of our eyes.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
