I am a researcher of contemporary art theory and criticism. My researche during my postgraduate study has focused on the intersection of socially engaged art and political art. I am extending the interdisciplinary study of sociology and contemporary art and exploring contemporary Chinese art’s relational aesthetic and antagonism about rural issues.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
