I am a mixed media Artist based in Birmingham who makes work about my childhood, which includes memories of negative and positive childhood experiences. I use a range of mediums such as paint, drawing, installation, and printmaking in my work to create pieces that evoke a sense of nostalgia. Through my work I seek to reconnect with my past, relive and experience it once again, and ultimately, gain a better understanding of my younger self.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
