Megan Carr is an artist currently based in Birmingham, UK. She devises installations, objects and publications that expose the dogged nature of our interactions with everyday objects. Using economic materials and processes, she tests the boundaries of excess and absence, possibility and cancellation, function and disfunction, her works residing in the spaces between. Her practice possesses a minimality and gestural conviction that engages the viewer in a contextual queering and reveals the anxieties of the material form.
