Klara Herakova is a Czech Republic [Roma] born and Birmingham raised Visual Artist.
Her Art lies between the playful, celebratory experience of creation and the desire to convey profound yet nuanced affirmations of encouragement, empowerment or existential commentary. Through an illustrative display of color, line, and figurative abstractions, she culminates imagery and words that elicit wonder and curiosity. Utilizing Her Art as a free-spirited tool to evoke Her inner world.
Her Practice is primarily intuitive, utilizing painting on raw canvas and incorporating mixed media such as oil pastels, fabric and clay.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
