I was born in China. I am now a master’s student at Birmingham City University.

In this year, life, time and art are my most concerned topics. I find it very interesting to use art to explain the changes of DNA. I began to study the relationship between DNA and art. I try to look at DNA from a scientific perspective and try to find the essential relationship between DNA and art.

Postmodern art is a pluralistic subject, which is complex, metaphorical and ironic. Its properties are easily associated with DNA. Although it is complex, it has a certain order. It conveys the artist’s ideas through complex and confusing forms. It’s like DNA is transmitting human diversity.

This work is themed by selling DNA. Through the advertising of selling DNA, it causes people to think about the integration of art and science, using scientific and technological means. So, can human DNA be used as an artistic creation?
