I’m a painter. Acrylic paints are my main form of media and I utalise them to emphasise intense colours and joys of my cultures. I’ve been exploring intentionally with oil pastels and cotton yarn for materiality whilst investigating themes of memories, symbolism and nature. 

I’m influenced by my personal upbringing and I’m interested in the elements of culture we carry individually, aiding to make a sense of who we are and where we come from. I interrogate my personal identity through symbolism of my culture and childhood to present day.
