Exploring the use of Technology by Contemporary Artists in the Creation of art
“Dive into the dynamic interplay between art and technology in the contemporary
creative landscape with this project. It navigates through the transformative impact
of technology on the expression of art. Beginning with an intriguing introduction,
this project unfolds with an interesting literature review, highlighting a diverse array
of artists using various technological mediums in their work.
The case studies of three pioneering contemporary artists—Janet Echelman, Refik
Anadol, and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer—who push the boundaries of art with their
innovative use of technology form the heart of this research. Through precise
research objectives and probing research questions, this project critically examines
how technology alters our more traditional approaches to form and meaning, while
digging into the opportunities, challenges, and societal impacts that arise from this
soft interplay.
This project encapsulates a journey through the evolving landscape of
contemporary art, shedding light on the profound influence of technology on art
practice, concept conveying and its far-reaching implications for the society.”
