Biomorphic Morphism
The creative process begins with automatic writing and drawing without preconceived notions or planning.
The sketches are carefully studied and improved by highlighting or erasing lines, thus producing interesting unseen forms or stories.
The selected drawings are used as a reference for the sculpture’s creativity.
The works created are often irrational – unconventional figures that reflect strangeness but equally create a magical environment where you can experience a breath of enigmatic beauty.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
