I was born and grew up in Taiwan. Now, I am a postgraduate student in Birmingham City University.
The topic of my research focused on consumer culture and shopaholic. In addition, my works presented consumers’ behaviour and the psychology of shopaholic through acrostic poems and funny slogans. Besides, the style of showing consumerism that I tried to design receipts, clothing labels and shipping labels.
My current project which was straightforward connected human’s daily life. There are two videos about my project. One video performed consumers’ activities in daily life such as shopping online and receiving parcels through mime performance. Another one expressed that I am a shopaholic via creating funny slogans.
The ideas of video A
Using funny and creative methods to perform consumers’ behaviour through mime art. Three episodes expressed the psychology of shopaholic while shopping online, receiving the parcels and getting the bills.
The ideas of video B
I presented that shopping gives me lots of achievements through humourous slogans. Besides, the ideas of colourful slogans were came from Andy Warhol and mass production of consumerism. Releasing the video at the corner of wall makes the practice become more attractive.
