Me and Me
Me and Me is an installation of multiple video performance projections and sculptural elements that discuss the maternal care towards my inner child and aims to open a possibility for reconciliation of our relationship.
Exploring the idea of mourning the death of my inner child due to childhood traumas, has enabled a dialogue to occur between us, as we find ways to reconnect by challenging the ideologies around communication between nontangible and metaphorical beings.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
