I use photography to distort scale to create artwork surrounding the Lake District landscape. I use materials ranging from resin to textile processes to create sculptures based on my surroundings, which I photograph to create the illusion of a more sublime landscape. In addition to this, I have a fascination for light and how this coincides with my work, creating shadows and larger projections or for giving life to smaller details.
The annual Degree Show is a highly anticipated event amongst staff, students, external partners and friends of the School of Art – it provides a platform for the work that the students have spent so long conceiving and producing.
