| Evaluating the potential of art therapy in managing mental health challenges in diverse population: A case study of India. Art theory became a relevant practice during early 20th century as it was perceived as a game changing approach for the patients facing mental health issues. It was a practice to encourage creative expression, insight-gathering and non-verbal communication platform used to transform thoughts of people into art medium.The basic focus of the research is to evaluate the potential of art theory in diverse Indian population as a tool to deal with mental health issues of people. Related questions are:How much art therapy has the potential to handle mental health issues in diverse population?Is art therapy the best solution for managing mental challenges such as stress, anxiety and depression?What strategies could be helpful in improving current art therapy practices in the diverse population of India? |
