Jessica Lees is a contemporary practising artist whose current work uses text to explore the untranslatable and ephemeral processes often associated with nature.
Her speculative body of work allows these intangible experiences to manifest themselves often through poetry, short stories and sculpture.
Lees’ developing body of work is self-referential and features malleable and fluid concepts through manipulation of the written word. Her work explores and highlights the clunky, imperfect translation of feeling into language.
