I focus a didactic approach to discovering my own personal heritage through collaborative work with my family, specifically my mother who I have worked closely with on this video. This work includes family stories, dialect, and family belongings. My current practice explores how my home environment has changed from when I was younger to how it looks now, this includes the journey from my family home to my grandmother’s old house. As part of this practice, I tend to keep a multi-disciplinary approach to my work, this can include video, personal objects, and photographs.
