Curating and Marketing with check-in culture and non-traditional business: enhancing the appeal of traditional Chinese cultural art exhibitions

In this study, I explore innovative strategies to revitalize traditional Chinese art exhibitions by integrating the “non-standardized business” model with digital engagement. Focusing on a Song Dynasty theme, I leverage the popular “check-in” culture to create visually striking and immersive exhibitions that attract and engage diverse audiences. By blending public and digital participation, my goal is to develop a multi-sensory exhibition experience that not only highlights Song Dynasty culture but also deepens visitor engagement and fosters meaningful cultural connections. This approach aims to enhance market competitiveness, expand audience reach, and build long-term visitor loyalty, ensuring the enduring appeal of traditional Chinese art exhibitions.
