Art theory became a relevant practice during early 20th century as it was perceived as a game changing approach for the patients facing mental health issues. It was a practice to encourage creative expression, insight-gathering and non-verbal communication platform used to transform thoughts of people into art medium.The basic focus of the research is to evaluate the potential of art theory in diverse Indian population as a tool to deal with mental health issues of people.
