“This lifeform will self-destruct”  

Reflecting on shared anxieties relating to the progression of AI, this project provokes questions about the psychology behind the self-destructive nature of human beings, the evolution of intelligence, obsessions with digital technological futures, and our desire to play god.  Imagine a dystopian future where all intelligent biological and synthetic life is lost, giving way to the birth of new lifeforms. Is this a preprogrammed fate which is imprinted in the collective unconscious, in which we are merely here to assist the advancement of intelligent life on Earth, just as civilizations have done before us? Or are we blissfully leading ourselves to destruction?
